Everyone is welcome to research and explore our collections.
We are here to preserve, share, and promote the Library's unique primary sources for the use of UCLA's academic community as well as the general public.
Our physical materials must be viewed in the Ahmanson Murphy Reading Rom. THEY DO NOT CIRCULATE.
We ask that you register and create an LSC User Account, if you haven't already done so, before accessing materials in the Reading Room or requesting duplication services.
The majority of LSC's holdings are stored off-site at the Southern Regional Library Facility or at the Biomedical Library and researchers must request materials at least 2 business days in advance using their LSC User Account. Additional time is needed for collections that contain audiovisual or archival materials.
Please visit UCLA Library Special Collections for more information about us.
